Papiers Flottants (Floating papers)

Papiers Flottants (Floating papers) presents the recent works of the artist and designer Marilou Chagnaud. Approaching paper and printmaking with an eye to its sculptural possibilities, this exhibition explores the deployment of printed patterns into a spatial installation, questioning the path from two to three-dimensional space, as well as the notions of movement and repetition.
Marilou Chagnaud is a French artist and designer. After graduating at the Ecole Superieure d'Art d'Aix-en-Provence in France, she moved to Montréal where she studied textile design and printmaking. She now lives in Canberra.
