The Centre for Art History and Art Theory launched Robert Wellington's marvellous new book Antiquarianism and the Visual Histories of Louis XIV: Artifacts for a Future Past at a function on 3 November 2015.

Dr Lisa Beaven, post-doctoral research fellow at Melbourne University, gave the speech celebrating Robert's achievements. The launch came at the conclusion of the workshop 'Digital Approaches in the Study of Early-Modern Visual Culture' convened by Dr Wellington and Dr Stephen Whiteman, The Power Institute, University of Sydney, and supported by ANU Research School of Humanities and Arts and the Power Institute.
