Graduate Coursework in Design, Digital Arts and Visual Arts

The ANU School of Art has Graduate Coursework programs to suit students from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

Our programs offer an opportunity to develop skills, advance your career and prepare for further graduate study. All programs are comprised of a combination of theory and studio-based courses and can incorporate individual research projects, masterclasses, and courses from allied areas. It is possible to construct a program of study concentrated in one studio discipline area, or to work across a number of areas.

Programs vary in length from 6 months (Graduate Certificate) to 2 years (Masters) full-time and are arranged around semester-based courses. Part-time study is available.

Coursework degrees are fee-based, with fees varying depending on the program and on the unit load undertaken. Information on fees for both domestic and international students can be found on the ANU Fees page.

The Australian Government provides the FEE-HELP loan program to eligible domestic graduate students to assist with domestic tuition fees (DTF).
