Alexandra Chambers

 Originally from Colorado, USA Alexandra Chambers has been involved in glass making for nearly 12 years and has been working as a glass blower for 10 years. Alexandra received her undergraduate degree from the Canberra School of Art in 2001. She has attended the Pilchuck Glass School, USA as a student, teaching assistant and as a staff member. She also worked at Ben Edols and Kathy Elliott’s studio in Sydney. She has taught glassblowing and lampworking workshops at the Sydney College of the Arts, Canberra School of Art and overseas. Alexandra is an independent artist whose work is held in national and private collections. She now resides in Canberra.

Alexandra was the recipient of the Stephen Procter Fellowship in 2005; the fellowship allowed Alexandra Chambers to travel to Pilchuck Glass School in the USA to work and study with artist Scott Benefield.
