Harumi Yukutake

Harumi Yukutake is glass artist based in Toyama, Japan where she is a faculty member of the Toyama City Institute of Glass Art. Harumi completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Three Dimensional Design, Glass at Tama Art University, Tokyo Japan in 1989. In 1994, Harumi completed her MFA in glass at the prestigious, Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island (USA). In less than a decade, Yukutake has achieved international recognition, not only for her practice and international exhibition schedule, but also for her commitment to the wider field of glass.

Harumi was the recipient of the Stephen Procter Fellowship in 2004, Harumi travelled to Canberra where she lived and worked out of the Canberra School of Art Glass Workshop. Harumi completed a permanent installation on the ANU site.
