Henry Pilcher

Henry did his Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) in 2008 after he had completed a final undergraduate semester on exchange at the Rhode Island School of Design. His interests in sustainability and ad hoc furniture led him to experiment with recycled cardboard and to produce some stunning seating forms. Henry spent 2009 in Perth, working at FORM’s recently established Midland Atelier under the mentorship of Jon Goulder. In 2010 Henry returned to his home in Sydney where he has established his own workshop. He has been designing and making such award winning pieces as the Block 2 lamps.
