Academic Outreach Program

Explore Arts and Science Day, ANU School of Art, 2014.

The ANU School of Art & Design Academic Outreach Program commences in 2016 as a vibrant participatory component of the School’s ongoing engagement with students and teachers in ACT Secondary Schools, providing academic outreach in schools.

Coordinated out of the School of Art & Design Outreach Office, the program fosters awareness and appreciation of, as well as participation in, the arts with an emphasis on the Visual Arts and Design.

The program consists of a menu of activities offered by academic and technical staff from every workshop of the ANU School of Art & Design, bringing a wealth of arts expertise into school classrooms. Activities are designed to advance the educational enrichment of students and the professional development of teachers in the ACT.

All secondary schools in the ACT are eligible to participate in the program.
