Nesting Boxes for Endangered Tasmanian Bird Species

The 2012 first year students in the ANU Furniture Workshop used data provided by Ecology PhD student Amanda Edworthy to come up with innovative solutions for nesting boxes to help restore the dwindling population of Forty Spotted Parladotes in Tasmania.  Together with Amanda, the ANU Furniture Workshop staff produced the first run of boxes to be installed in the forest.  Read the whole story here: Students' Artistry Helping to Save Endangered Bird
