The Jewellery & Object studio is internationally renowned for education and research in diverse forms of contemporary practice. Students enjoy a dedicated work bench in an open mezzanine setting and benefit from extensive world class facilities that guarantee a safe and productive work environment. Equipment includes: metal lathes, milling machines, hydraulic press, drill presses, metal guillotine, folders, laser, puk, and tig welding and bead blasting. Processes rooms include: enamelling and casting facilities, anodising room, soldering room, finishing room, polishing rooms soldering and annealing rooms, Hammer work and metal forming room with digital facilities including 3D printing.
