International Exchange
The ANU School of Art & Design (SOA&D) international exchange program provides students with the opportunity to study overseas as part of their degree. The SOA&D maintains close connections with art and design partner institutions in Asia, Europe, the UK, Canada and the USA.
An exchange student is one who exchanges places at an institution recognised by the School, to work under supervision for a stated period of time. Fees continue to be paid to the home institution. All exchanges require the agreement of both the home and receiving institutions. Students are responsible for financing their accommodation, travel, living expenses and the cost of any necessary materials while on an exchange visit.
The ANU SOA&D international exchange program is open to domestic and international students enrolled in a SOA&D Undergraduate or Postgraduate program. The usual length of the exchange period is one semester. Approval will not be given for exchange during an Honours year.
School of Art & Design students are also eligible to apply for the
ANU Global Programs Student Exchange Program. Visit the ANU website for further information.
