Denise Ferris is a Senior Lecturer in Photography at the ANU School of Art. In 2007 Ferris completed a doctorate, her exegesis Spoilt Milk: Photography, Recollection and Constructing A Maternal articulated maternal representations through a series of milk prints. This photographic emulsion combines the protein of milk, casein, and a poisonous chemical, dichromate, under UV light.
