ANU Design

Dr Geoff Hinchcliffe and Associate Professor Mitchell Whitelaw invite you to join them for an introduction to ANU Design. Design practice is evolving. It is adapting to the challenges and opportunities of our rapidly changing world. Today’s designers must be multi-skilled, agile, ready to traverse disciplinary boundaries to engage with complex problems and reach new markets. ANU Design responds to this context - it’s about versatility, engagement, collaboration, and bringing digital and material processes together to produce innovative new forms and practices. More than just a study program, ANU Design represents a significant new chapter for the School of Art. As drivers of this new initiative, Geoff Hinchcliffe and Mitchell Whitelaw invite you to learn a bit more about them and the program; what it is, where it’s come from, and where it’s headed.
