Artist talk: Debbie Ding

Debbie Ding is a visual artist and technologist working between London and Singapore. She’ll be talking about the process behind her past works visualising and mapping the Singapore River as a psychogeographical faultline, as well the devising of a ‘philosophising machine’ to resurrect and generate new readings of ambiguous artefacts excavated from Pulau Saigon, a former island in the Singapore River.
Debbie graduated with an MA in Design Interactions from Royal College of Art (UK) and is a visiting artist currently undertaking an reciprocal residency program between the Australian War Memorial and the National Museum of Singapore.
