Opening a gallery is a challenging ordeal at the best of times. Opening the first contemporary jewellery gallery in Bangkok was a daring step for Atinuj Atty Tantivit in 2010. Against all odds in a very conservative environment, this young pioneer forged new directions in jewellery design and exhibition styles with ATTA Gallery. Atty provided a creative hub which fostered established and emerging artists, both local and international. She encouraged them to have a voice and exhibit their art forms and change the way people perceive jewellery in a modern and changing world.

Atty will give a personal account of her struggle and journey in establishing ATTA Gallery, and the challenges that lie ahead with her creative dream.
