Many of our sculptures are allegories that explore the relationships between humans and animals. This new work, an assemblage of welded steel, speaks of balance, calm and tranquility. The sleeping human figure within the body of the horse is a metaphor for sanctuary and safety, but also for us of dreams and the subconscious.
