Digital Art History Postgraduate Workshop

This workshop builds upon the growing prominence of digital approaches to the field of art history. Postgraduate students are invited to discuss the application of digital technologies to the study of art, architecture, and visual culture with a panel of international and interstate scholars working in this field, including Professor Caroline Bruzelius, founder of Visualizing Venice and Wired! at Duke University. It will be of equal interest to students who are versed in digital approaches to the research of visual culture, and those with no prior experience who want to know how technology can expand the possibilities of their work.

Convenors:
Dr Glenn Roe, Centre for Digital Humanities Research, ANU
Dr Robert Wellington, Centre for Art History and Art Theory, ANU

Please register for the workshop by email to: robert.wellington@anu.edu.au

Made possible with the generous support of the Power Institute at The University of Sydney and the ANU Research School of the Humanities and the Arts Visiting Scholars fund.
