Two Inspirational Field Study Proposals for 2016
Advanced Briefing

The Grasslands of Lake George
A Field Study, incorporating an Environment Studio Elective Study, located around Lake George, NSW, responding to the ecologically important grasslands.

The Bundian Way
A Field Study, incorporating an Environment Studio Elective Study, located around Two Fold Bay, near Eden, Far South Coast, NSW, responding to the culturally
significant Bundian Way.

Both Field Study programs are dependent on external funding and viable numbers to proceed. Each program consists of three Field Trips in 2016:
Field Trip 1: Weekend early Semester 1
Field Trip 2: 5 days mid-semester break, Semester 1
Field Trip 3: 5 days mid-year break, Winter Session
Should the Field Study programs be offered, they will deliver field research opportunities for postgraduate, honours, visiting artists, alumni and staff who are able to register. Undergraduate and coursework Masters students participate through enrolment in the associated Environment Studio Elective undertaking Field Trips 1 and 2 only as a 2016 Semester 1 Elective; or Field Trip 3 as a 2016 Winter Intensive Elective. Should funding not be forthcoming for a Field Study, the associated Environment Studio Elective may proceed independently. The conceptual scope and logistic details will be outlined for both Field Study programs at the Art Forum.
