Hoshino Satoru is an internationally recognised ceramicist, teaching as guest artist and artist-in-residence at ceramic centers in locations as varied as Denmark, Belgium, Korea, Australia, Hungary. At the start of his career Saturo worked for many years with the avant-garde, non-Hoshino’s oeuvre includes large-scale installations that can fill entire rooms as well as more intimate objects that can be held in one’s hands.
