Maike Dahl is Silversmith, based in Hannover, Germany. Her work is centered around the theme ‘silver for the everyday’. Inspired by modern packaging, Maike takes very thin silver sheets, which she then folds and solders together to make a fascinating collection of tumbling tumblers, bowl and containers.  Maike is in Australia for a three month artist in residency at Sturt Craft Centre, Mittagong.
