Matthew Day Perez is an artist who works primarily with glass, printed matter, digital media, and installation. He states that his work ‘often begins with delicate and whimsical questioning of the ordinary: What is the color of clear? How is transparency produced? What is the opposite of a shadow?’ Matthew Day Perez Received his BFA from Illinois State University and his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. He was recently awarded a Fulbright Fellowship and is currently undertaking research in the Glass Workshop at the ANU School of Art.
