Michael Brennand-Wood is known primarily as a textile artist, and is also an accomplished visual artist, curator, lecturer and arts consultant and often works across a variety of disciplines. His work is held in major public, corporate and private collections worldwide, including at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, Crafts Council UK, the National Museum of Modern Art in Kyoto, Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum and the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra. Michael is currently undertaking the residency at Gudgenby Ready-Cut Cottage in the Namadgi National Park, and is Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre’s first international artist in residence.
