Ray Chen’s sculpture explores form, space and line. His sculpture is the physical language that crosses the boundaries of culture, representing both Eastern and Western culture and aesthetic influences. In recent years his work has addressed his relationship with his mother and subsequent ideas about traditional and responsibility.
