Give and Take: An exchange folio between print and drawing staff and students from the Victorian College of the Arts and the School of Art & Design, ANU.

Give and Take investigates the ideas of exchange and response. It draws on the potential of reproductive image-making to traffic ideas through duplication and transmission across time and space. The project uses the mechanism of a print folio to produce a network of exchanges between artists, institutions, and cultural materials.

Participants from VCA were invited to create an edition of prints in response to the University of Melbourne Art Collection, held at Ian Potter Museum of Art and participants from ANU SOA&D were asked to respond to work from the Petr Herel Collection, housed in the Menzies Library at ANU.
