Inspired by the Glorious Days: Australia 1913 exhibition, this lecture explores what was happening in Australia 100 years ago.
Join photographic curator, historian and author Helen Ennis as she discusses the rise of photography in 1913 and its use by professionals, amateurs, ethnographers and scientific explorers. Ennis will also examine the portraits currently displayed in the Glorious Days exhibition and explore the differences between portraiture from 1913 and now.
