The Graduate Student Conference provides the opportunity for post-graduate students to meet as a group and discuss their research, present papers, receive feedback, and form networks with other researchers. The first of the 2016 conferences, it showcases students studying either a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

The program has a stimulating and diverse range of presentations with papers from Melanie Eastburn  (PhD Art History), Carmen Ky (MPhil, Painting), Kelly Austin (MPhil, Ceramics), Carolyn Young (PhD Photography and Media Arts), Julia Yang (PhD Ceramics), Greg Hodge (PhD, Painting), Fiona Peng (PhD, Ceramics) and Dan Stewart-Moore (PhD Sculpture).

It includes welcome speeches from HDR Convenor Valrie Kirk, Head of School Denise Ferris, and a special presentation from Chris McAuliffe, Professor of Practice-led research.
