Canberra Contemporary Art Space Studio Residents take sides

Hexagonal is an exhibition of intriguing new works by the 2013 Canberra Contemporary Art Space Studio Residents. Featuring School of Art graduates Heather Brenchley, Martin James, Alex Lewis, Katy Mutton, Jemima Parker and Timothy Phillips, Hexagonal is a taster of what these innovative artists have been cooking up in their studios of late. Approaching art making from all sides and stances, you can expect to encounter diverse explorations of materials and techniques executed both intricately and boldly. Their exciting collection of sculpture, printmaking, drawing, painting and collage draws on life and the everyday, and is interspersed with a good dose of humour and irony.
