The Centre for Art History and Art Theory, ANU School of Art, and Aboriginal Studies Press present a symposium Indigenous photographies, celebrating the publication of Calling the shots: Aboriginal photographies edited by Professor Jane Lydon (UWA).

The symposium will explore the curatorial use of Indigenous images, Indigenous interactions with collections and the histories of photography within Australia’s colonial past.
