Chair structures and contemporary seating are the focus of Isabelle Moore’s furniture practice. Developed through drawing, models and fabrication, each piece is shaped by a love of materials and a fascination with the routes revealed by cross media manipulation and geometry.

A fusion of structure, craft skills and body centered design, Isabelle’s work is created in the exploratory environment of artist residencies and in her Edinburgh based studio. She teaches short workshops, exhibits widely and has her work represented in collections at home and abroad. Isabelle Moore is currently a Visiting Artist in the Furniture Workshop.
