Jeff Ballard is visiting the Glass workshop on his way home to the United States from the Adelaide Ausglass Conference. Please come to see his hot shop demonstration, Thursday 26th February, Glass Workshop 2:30-5:00, and hear him talk about his practice, Friday 27th, 2:30-3:00!!

Born in Illinois in 1977, Jeff Ballard earned a BFA in Glass in 2000. Since 2010, Ballard has undertaken many international opportunities as a gaffer, an artist in residence and a teacher. He is on the board of Berlin Glas e.V. Finding inspiration from his immediate surroundings, each new location provides Jeff with the found objects that are the catalyst for new ideas. His fascination with the unconscious realm of sleep has become the focus of his most recent series of work.
