Manning Clark House in association with the ANU School of Art presents The Little Mermaid. This video is part of a series of Seven Nursery Tales made for multi-screen environments by Peter Greenaway, Istvan Horkay and Irma de Vries.

The ambition is to take seven familiar stories from the nursery, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, The Princess and the Pea, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and The Princess and the Toad, with their urgent themes of love, lust, temptation, revenge, fetishism, hate, envy and punishment centered around the desirable virgin, and bring them into the adult world.
