A fresh new discussion about landscape art curated by Shan Crosbie featuring the work of: Grace Blake, Ned Bott, Lucy Chetcuti, Julie Delves, Anne-Marie Jean, Rachel Powell, Chris Ramsey and Sian Watson, Personal Geography will be an exciting multimedia exhibition to create new conversations about what land and landscape means to contemporary artists.

Landscape has traditionally been seen as a universally understood, universally experienced subject. However, the work of these eight artists highlights the ultimately subjective and personal nature of interpreting space. From Grace Blake’s psychedelic, alien worlds, to Ned Bott’s intimate relationship with the actual material of his landscape, Personal Geography deconstructs traditional conventions of representational landscape and opens up new ways of interacting with, understanding and constructing the space around us.
