Short course: Ceramics for the outdoor environment

Each year the School's Workshops organise short courses, intensive summer and winter schools or master classes and term-long specific interest programs.

These courses are offered by the Visual Art Access program, jointly run by the ANU Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) and the School of Art and with the support of the ArtsACT.

This course will develop technical hand building skills, including pinching, slab work and coil building with extruded coils. It explores the clay surface, specifically developing texture. There will be two projects focused on objects for the outside environment.

Teacher: Kelly Austin
