Short course: Developing a personal wheel throwing style

Each year the School's Workshops organise short courses, intensive summer and winter schools or master classes and term-long specific interest programs.

These courses are offered by the Visual Art Access program, jointly run by the ANU Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) and the School of Art and with the support of the ArtsACT.

This course for is designed for beginners and continuing students, wishing to learn, develop and improve their wheelwork technique for making pots. You will extend your ability and scope to produce various sizes and styles of pottery focussing on vases, bottles and bowls as well as making stoneware pots, fired using simple glazes to 1300deg.
