Luis Power, After Dark, 2014
Luis Power, After Dark, 2014

Each year the School's Workshops organise short courses, intensive summer and winter schools or master classes and term-long specific interest programs.

These courses are offered by the Visual Art Access program, jointly run by the ANU Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) and the School of Art and with the support of the ArtsACT.

In this intensive workshop, learn the art of photographic composition and how to produce a better artistic image by mastering your digital camera. It will cover file formats, exposure controls, aperture, shutter speeds, ISO (light sensitivity), white balance, manual controls, exposure compensation, composition and light metering. It also includes an excursion to Gundaroo to practice your camera skills.

Teacher: Cathy Laudenbach
Dates: 7-8 May
Time: 11am – 5pm
