Tom Zogas grew up in Rochester NY, where he became involved in an active studio glass community. He attended the School for American Crafts at RIT and received a Bachelor’s in Glass Sculpture. His studies were focused around the history of glassware, contemporary functions, and the use of blown glass to relate the two. Tom is a Visiting Artist in the Glass Workshop.
Wyatt Amend is a ceramic artist from Ojai, California. His works are inspired by ancient venetian glassblowing techniques and vessels and are made using reductive carving similar to that of a wood worker on a lathe. He has been a resident artist at the Beatrice Woods Center for the Arts, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and was teaching assistant to Greg Daly at Penland School of Crafts, which led him to the ANU. He is currently a Visiting Artist in the Ceramics Workshop.
