Ways Of Seeing

Opening 2pm Saturday 14 August

Textile and fibre artists, LeonieAndrews, BeverlyMoxon and OlaRobertson interpret the landscape in different ways.

Andrews explores the contemporary Australian landscape, focusing on the patterns of nature in her local area.  Her work, inspired by the marks left by insects, animals and people, is translated through the use of recycled fabrics and natural dyes.

Moxon uses basketry techniques to create mementos of the places she has experienced.  Whilst her small ‘pieces of place’ are surrounded by personal narratives, her work also suggests a concern for the environment.
