Finalists in the ACT award from the School of Art

The ANU School of Art is well represented in the 2013 Australian Craft Awards. Six craft practitioners from the School have been selected as finalists in the ACT award, being one of alumni, staff or current student.

The awards celebrate the role that craft plays in contemporary Australia and showcases the designs and products of all its entrants.

Our successful alumni includes Megan Jackson for her fashion accessories, Alison Jackson for her tableware collection and jewellery and Blanche Tilden for her jewelry. Rosemary Goonan, garment collection, The Rag Venture, and Nellie Peoples' jewellery, Strata Survey, are current students of the School. Head of Foundation and Coordinator of the Design Arts, Gilbert Riedelbauch was also selected for his Knicks desk light (pictured).

You can view a profile on each finalist at the finalist's page on Australian Craft Awards
