Alison Alder gives a screen printing demonstration for students studying art history and curatorship.

Tuesday 2 September 2014

As part of a special class focusing on Pop Art, first years in the Art History and Theory program were treated to a screen printing demonstration by Alison Alder from Printmedia and Drawing. Alison encouraged students to get a feel for the technique of screen printing first hand with the opportunity to print works for themselves. This demonstration is part of an exciting program of collaborations between lecturers in the workshops and the Centre for Art History and Theory at the School of Art that allows students of the history and theory of art to gain more practical knowledge in the production of art objects.
