Miriam Kelly - Artbank Curator & Collection Coordinator

ANU School of Art is proud to acknowledge the success of one of its many high achieving alumni. In May 2013, Miriam Kelly was appointed Curator & Collection Coordinator at the Australian Government's Artbank organisation. Artbank has a collection of over 9,000 contemporary Australian artworks which it has collected and commissioned since its inception. Works are accessed through a unique national leasing system and promotion of Australian contemporary art is central to the institution's success.

Miriam has risen through through the ranks as a curator since leaving the School of Art, most notably, her previous appointment was as Assistant Curator of Australian Paintings & Sculpture at the National Gallery of Australia. She has also served on the boards of Megalo Print Studio and Gallery and Canberra Contemporary Art Space.
