ANU Design launches Blueprint design showcase

Monday 22 May 2017

ANU Design is calling for submissions from college students to exhibit in Blueprint, a major showcase of design work by Year 11 and 12 students launching in 2017.

ANU Design incorporates all disciplines of the School of Art & Design to combine new digital technology with hands-on making. Reflecting the diversity of the new degree and to explore the future of design, Blueprint will showcase work by the next generation of designers, across both physical and digital formats.

Work to be shown in Blueprint may include but is not limited to: printmaking; graphic design; web, game and interaction design; fashion and jewellery design; ceramics; architecture; interior, furniture, and product design; and can be experienced in formats such as drawings, models, photography, websites, software, video, 3D imaging, objects or garments.

Blueprint will be showcased in both a physical and digital space in August 2017 through an exhibition at the ANU School of Art & Design Foyer Gallery and in a rich interactive website.

$5000 in prizes will be awarded across the following categories: Innovation and Execution; Digital and Material; Sustainability and Ethics; and Engagement and Impact.
