ANU Honours graduate Melinda Willis wins National Emering Art Glass Prize

ANU Honours graduate Melinda Willis, has been named the winner of the National Emerging Art Glass Prize for her work Resonance IV.
This national award recognises emerging artists working in Glass who are currently studying or who have less than five years of professional experience.
Melinda has been awarded two classes at the prestigious Northlands Glass Centre in Scotland, including flights and accommodation.
Two Honourable mentions were also awarded: one to ANU Honours Graduate Clare Peters and the other to Janine Tanzer from Melbourne.
Over half of the finalist were ANU graduates or current students and many travelled to Wagga for the opening.
The National Emerging Art Glass Prize is now showing at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery until July 17, 2016.
