ANU researchers at Drawing International Brisbane Symposium

Three researchers from the ANU School of Art presented conferences papers at the Drawing International Brisbane (DIB) Symposium at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University last week.

Professor of Art (Practice-led research) Chris McAuliffe presented ‘Redrafting spectatorship: William Dobell’s television drawings’, PhD candidate Hannah Quinlivan gave a talk titled ‘Rhythm analysis and contemporary abstract drawing’, and Nicci Haynes' gave an artist presentation called 'Drawing, performance and language'.

The symposium was accompanied by a series of exhibitions and performances held over multiple local venues.
