You Are Here, a five-day festival or independent arts, takes place from 13th – 16th April with over 90 free events popping up over Canberra.

According to the Experts by Sculpture graduate Rosalind Lemoh is a guerrilla advertising campaign – look out for the posters in shop fronts and walk ways around Canberra that promote more packaging that product.

Also exploring commercial consumption, Printmedia and Drawing alumnus Bernie Slater’s exhibition Power lets viewers take home a retail style product containing printed artworks, in an installation that explores the dynamics of power and information. It will be showing at Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG), where Photography and Media Arts graduate Daniel Savage’s video work Elevator Vignettes will be screened, and Printmedia and Drawing PhD candidate Elly Kent presents Née (born as) - a conversation project about the stories behind names.

At The Club, poet and ANU Art History lecturer teams up with glass artist Harriet Schwarzrock for Light Lines, a collaboration to transform words into neon signs.
