Students from the Photography and Media Arts (PMA) and Printmedia and Drawing workshops will be creating real time image projections on the facade of the National Archives of Australia (NAA) as part of Enlighten Festival 2016.

In the second year of collaboration between the School of Art and the NAA, the projections will remix audio-visual content sourced from the current exhibition Magnified: 12 years of the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize.

The project has been facilitated by PMA's technical officer Jean-Philippe Demarais and involves post-graduate student and digital artist John Carolan, who will be experimenting with new projection techniques using PMA’s recently acquired state-of-the art projector.

See the projections at the National Archives of Australia over the two weekends of Enlighten, from 8pm-10pm on 4-5th and 11-12th March.
