The School of Art and the Centre for Art History and Art Theory have farewelled Emeritus Professor Anthea Callen after a very productive visit to ANU during October and November 2015.

Anthea is currently working on the final stages of her book on the male body and issues of masculinity for Yale University Press. She was recently awarded a Leverhulme Emeritus Fellowship to research a new edition of her major book The Art Of Impressionism: Painting Technique and the Making of Modernity (also  for Yale University Press).
