ANU School of Art Sculpture artists awarded at Sculpture in the Paddock

Sian Watson, honours student from the ANU School of Art Sculpture Workshop, has won the inaugural Yass Soldiers Club Encouragement Award at Sculpture in the Paddock, while the Tuggeranong Arts Centre exhibition award went to ANU School of Art alumni Stephen Harrison, who also studied in the Sculpture Workshop.

Hosted by the National Trust (NSW), Sculpture in the Paddock highlights the high-caliber of sculpture artists living in and around the Yass Valley Shire, as well as drawing in work from local and national renowned Australian artists.

The 2015 exhibition showcases 26 sculpture works in the natural surrounds of the historic Cooma Cottage. The winning prize went to Dan Moor.

Sculpture in the Paddock is showing until October 11 at Cooma Cottage.
