ANU SOA&D graduate Rebecca Selleck shortlisted for Ramsay Art Prize

Recent ANU SOA&D Sculpture graduate Rebecca Selleck has been announced as a finalist in the prestigious Ramsay Art Prize at the Art Gallery of South Australia.

The Ramsay Art Prize is held every two years and is open to Australian contemporary artists under 40 working in any medium. Supported by the James & Diana Ramsay Foundation, the major prize is an acquisitive award of $100,000.

In 2017, twenty one finalists were selected from more than 450 entries, by a judging panel including Director of the Auckland Art Gallery, Rhana Devenport, Australian artist Nell and the Art Gallery of South Australia’s inaugural Curator of Contemporary Art, Leigh Robb.

The exhibition of finalists’ work will be on show at the Art Gallery of South Australia from 27 May to 27 August 2017, and the winner will be announced on 26 May.
