Hosted by HyperWerk Institute for Postindustrial Design, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, the conference was held at the Museum for Culture (Museum der Kulturen) and brought together researchers, educators, design practitioners, and design students from around the world to examine globalisation as a design issue and elaborate on aspects relevant to design education.

A book about the project will be published in late 2017.
