ANU School of Art & Design staff Waratah Lahy and Ben Rak and PhD candidates Jen Fullerton and Leah Bullen have been shortlisted for the 2017 Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award.

The finalists’ works were selected from 850 entries from across Australia and are competing for the major award of $15,000, the Young and Emerging Artist Award, the Friends of Hazelhurst Local Artist Award ($5000 each), and the People’s Choice Award ($1000), 

The exhibition spans drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, printmaking and video, and the prize will be judged by artist Lindy Lee on May 19th.

The Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award is on at the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre from May 19 – July 16.
