Glass exhibition at Lesley Kehoe Galleries Melbourne

Four graduates Mel Douglas, Brian Corr, Masa Asaka, and Jessica Loughlin from the ANU SoA Glass Workshop are featured at one of Melbourne’s most highly respected fine art galleries. This exhibition brings together artists who have strong conceptual underpinnings wrapped in a traditional craft practice. This gallery acknowledges the skills and the many years of work required to create these works of art and as they state in their online essay: “In bold statements of originality, both conceptual and technical, each of these artists embodies the principles that define art. Their work provokes the intellect, inspires, evokes passion and awe, indulges the senses and stirs the heart.“ Lesley Kehoe BA MA FRAS

The exhibition runs from 10/10/2012 to 15/11/2012 at Lesley Kehoe Galleries, Ground Floor, 101 Collins St, Melbourne, Victoria.
